Environmental and social aspects are one of the important components of the YCCPP-2 program. Much attention is paid to the environmental and social component of the project during the construction phase of YCCPP-2. In this context, Shengavit and Erebuni administrative districts of Yerevan, as well as Ayntap and Nor Kharberd rural communities were selected as the affected communities of the Project. Started from the beginning of the construction until now, there have been numerous meetings with both the leaders of the affected communities and the residents of the communites. Public hearings are held regularly, during which Project representatives provide the communities information on the implementation of the Project, inform about possible job positions. Give priority in hiring representatives of the affected communities, this is an important part of the company's strategy. Proof of this are the many employees who are residents of these communities and already work successfully in the company.
