• Endorsement of client’s technical documentation
• Development of piping lists such as: line list, materials take off, bill of quantities, supports lists etc.
• Development of detail engineering such as: plot plans, scope layout, piping layout and sections, key plans, supports typicals, piping typical assemblies, isometrics, etc.
• Monitors and reports actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline (3D modelling capability is a plus but not mandatory)
REQUIRED COMPETENCES:

WORK PURPOSE: Design in piping materials discipline in EPC projects Oil&Gas and Power
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
Within Piping&Layout discipline :

• Selection of piping materials and components
• Performs wall thickness calculations of pipes
• Issues technical specification for requisition of all piping components
• Issues technical bid evaluation for piping components offers
• Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section
• Is responsible for the establishment of the Piping Material Management System data base
• Assists inspection department
• Prepares mechanical valve specification for body of motorized valves
• Vendors/Suppliers technical follow-up

WORK PURPOSE: Support Project Manager of the Project in the monitoring and update of the project schedule and in the reporting activities to the client
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
• Interface with construction disciplines to evaluate the progress
• Monitoring of the progress and update of project schedule on Primavera P6
• Support Lead Planner and Project Management to identify and evaluate deviations from the baseline
• Main reporting to the client (weekly and monthly reports)
REQUIRED COMPETENCES:
• Knowledge of Primavera P6
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (database management, pivot, etc.)

WORK PURPOSE: Design in Process discipline in EPC projects Oil&Gas and Power
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
Within process discipline:
• Endorsement of client’s technical documentation
• Develops Heat&Material Balances using simulation softwares
• Develops Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner
• Defines and sizes Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issues relevant Process
Data sheets
• Elaborates Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Performs hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient
operation
• Defines the utilities requirements and designs the associated systems
• Defines quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment
• Ensure the preparation of Operating Manual and Test Run procedures
• Implements contractual design philosophy
• Checks technical quality of calculations, sw simulations and deliverables produced by others
• Takes part of the multidisciplinary project reviews such as P&IDs, HAZOP, 3D Mod
