The Yerevan Thermal Power Plant 2 Project has been recognized by The Government of Armenia as a strategic Project for the Country.The Government allowed the Project Site to remain open and carry out activities during the lockdown period. In March, when the Covid-19 spread started in Armenia, the Government of Armenia promptly sent the Minister of Health check to the construction site, in order to verify in a short notice the correct execution of the activities in full compliance with the anti-covid rules. 
The Project activities are going on, involving a consistent number of local workers.
