The Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has received the representatives of Renco and Armpower companies headed by Renco CEO Giovanni Rubini.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the construction works of the new 250 MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Yerevan.
Giovanni Rubini reported that despite certain problems caused by the “Covid-19”, the construction works always gone ahead and he granted that the power plant will be totally operative this fall.
Tigran Avinyan emphasized the importance of this Project and the possibility of replenishing the energy system of Armenia with efficient capacities. The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted that, the construction of the New Yerevan Power Plant represents a successful project which is the proof of cooperation and dedication.
